moja + THE MOLICE
The two bands started at almost the same time, have looked at the world
in their own ways, have stood on many world stages, and have built up
their careers while always keeping a bird's eye view of both Japan and
the “world”. Two bands that have crossed paths and touched each other
many times in their long journey together. [MO] is a project born from
the fusion of these two bands.The values shared by all members of the
band are: "Connecting Japan and the world through music.[MO] will
transmit this in a variety of ways. Our goal is to create a vortex that
will eventually reach and resonate with people all over the world.

MOLICE。ほぼ同じ時にバンドが始まり、それぞれのやり方で世界を見つめ、世界の数多くのステージに立ち、日本と「世界」の両方を俯瞰しながらキャリアを積み重ねてきた2つのバンド。
お互いの長い歩みの中で、幾度となく交叉し触れ合いながらそれぞれの道を進んできた2つのバンド。MOはその2つのバンドが融合することで生まれたプロジェクトです。
メンバーの全員が共有している価値観。それは「日本と世界を音楽で繋げていくために出来ることを、自分たちが一番楽しい形で実現させる」MOはそれを様々な形で発信していきます。
それがやがて大きな渦となって、世界中の人々に届き共鳴していくことを目指しています。

MOJA is an extreme rock duo consisting of Masumi (dr) and Haru
(ba,vo), formed in 2007. In that same year, they performed at the
CMJ (NYC), and in 2008, theyʼve won 3rd place at the Global Battle
of the Bands, world championship. Since then, theyʼve pursued a
successful career, performing at globally renowned festivals such as

so on. They have performed in 12countries so far, which is a firm
proof of their ceaselessly growing reputation. Masumiʼs superhuman
drumming reminiscent of Buddhist god Ashra, and Haruʼs growling
heavy bassline and ferocious vocal combined will blow all the
audiences mind away, and make it difficult to resist the urge to
mosh. The compositions are waste cut, compact, and displays even
functional beauty, which tempts the listeners into repetitive play
with its addictiveness. MOJA successfully merge opposing elements
such as boldness and elaborateness, thrill and excitement. Witness

2007年に結成されたMasumi（dr）とHaru（ba,vo）のエクストリーム・ロック・デュオ。
同年、CMJ（ニューヨーク）に出演し、2008年にはGlobal Battle of the
Bands世界大会で3位入賞を果たす。以来、順調にキャリアを積んでいる、

THE MOLICE are an alternative/post-hardcore/dance-core trio from
Tokyo, formed in 2007 by the charismatic female
singer/lyricist/guitarist Rinko and high tension guitarist Yuzuru.
Drummer Paro joined in 2015 after a lineup change.Drawing
inspiration from 70’s punk DIY spirit, 80’s new wave stylish power
pop, and 90’s unchained indies guitar rock, the band has hammered
out their own sound while playing in Tokyo’s numerous rock venues
and on tour in North America, Europe and Asia. This East/West hybrid
sound has a wide appeal by being both catchy and edgy, incorporating
rock n’ roll, classical, dance, shoegaze, alternative, and
post-hardcore elements. Since their beginning, the band has had a
high percentage of global listeners amongst their fans. As a result,
the Molice has received TV and radio coverage in a diverse range of
countries such as Vietnam, the USA, France, UK, Australia, and
Portugal. THE MOLICE’s second album “Catalystrock” also caught the
attention of Good Charamel Records (owned by Robby Takac of the Goo
Goo Dolls), who went on to sometimes release their next 6 albums in
North America as well as helping produce their music in the US.
2007年、カリスマ女性シンガー/作詞/ギタリストのRinkoとハイテンション・ギタリストの
Yuzuruによって結成された東京発のオルタナティヴ/ポストハードコア/ダンスコア・トリオ、
THE MOLICE。 2015年にドラムの勝本 「パロ
」博文が加入。70『sパンクのDIY精神、80』sニューウェーブの
スタイリッシュなパワーポップ、90'sインディーズ・ギターロックのアンチェインドからインスピレーションを受け、
東京の数々のロック・ハウスや北米、ヨーロッパ、アジアでのツアーで演奏しながら、独自のサウンドを作り上げてきた。
ロックンロール、クラシック、ダンス、シューゲイザー、オルタナティブ、ポストハードコアなどの要素を取り入れた、
キャッチーかつエッジの効いた東西ハイブリッド・サウンドは、幅広い層に支持されている。Rinkoは主に日本語で歌うが、
日本で人気のあるアイドルの歌い方とは対照的に、メロディックなロック・スタイルで歌う。
彼女の歌詞はロマンチックなものが多いが、『ブレードランナー』や『華氏451』といった映画にインスパイアされ、
SF的なものに踏み込むこともある。結成当初から、バンドのファンには世界的なリスナーの割合が多かった。
その結果、モリーチェはベトナム、アメリカ、フランス、イギリス、オーストラリア、ポルトガルなど、
さまざまな国でテレビやラジオで取り上げられている。THE
MOLICEのセカンド・アルバム『Catalystrock』は、
グッド・キャラメル・レコード（Robby Takac of the Goo Goo
Dolls）の目に留まり、
その後6枚のアルバムを北米でリリースすることになった。
